Staff:
Thursday Aug 29th: Middle School Staff go to MS Gym for your photo. Elementary Staff go to the Multi-purpose room for your photo. They will be set up before school starts.
Elementary School:
We are looking for volunteers to sign up to TAP (Teacher AssistantProgram). Forms are due back to school by this Friday August 30th. We will have a beginning of the year safety meeting at WCS with Mr. Gary Chester from the D300 districtoffice on Tuesday Sept 17th. Refreshments at 8am meeting will begin
at 8:30. We ask that all TAP and Room Parents please attend this meeting. Any questions please contact Cindy Grell [email protected]847-917-2264. (VB 8/27)
Middle School:
Attention any 6th, 7th or 8th grade boy or girl who enjoys playing volleyball, Westfield’s Intramural Volleyball Program is set to begin next week. There will be an informational meeting on WEDNESDAY, August 28th from 8:15 – 8:30 in the Middle School gym for anyone who is interested in playing. Intramural Volleyball will meet twice a week in the mornings before school starts. Grab your friends, make a team, and come out and play. It is a lot of fun! If you have any questions, see Mrs. Woods or Mrs. Sink in the Middle School P.E.

Cheerleading: Attention all 7th and 8th grade girls interested in trying out for cheerleading. We will be
holding try outs next Wednesday, August 28th, and Thursday August 29th. Try outs will be held before school from 7:30-8:30 in the gym. Please pick up a packet in the office (completed up to date physical is required
to try out). Come ready to cheer! If you have any questions please see Miss Barnick or Mrs. Scully.
Cross Country: It’s not too late for any 7th or 8th grade to join. To participate you need to complete the forms in the athletic packet (including physical), once they are completed and turned in you may join us afterschool.

Dance Team: A mandatory meeting will be held Wednesday 9/4/13 at 8:00 am in room 174 for all girls currently on the team. Any 7th or 8th grade girl interested in trying out should also attend. If you have any questions see Mrs. Flowers or Mrs. Fitzsimmons.
Picture Day:
Picture day is scheduled for August 29th. You may prepay online at www.inter-state.com. Checks are to be
made payable to Inter-state Studios Inc. Order forms will go home with the students this week.

The Fall Fundraiser is starting this week! Your child will bring home a packet from "The Chip Shoppe" that has all of the information on the program. Also, this Tuesday, August 27th, a representative will be at Westfield to review the program and discuss the prizes with the students during the lunch hours. We
appreciate all of your support for this program! If you have questions, please reach out to the PTO directly at [email protected]. Order forms due 9/10/13.
